موسیقی زیبا و تاثیر گذار، صدای صاف، مغرور و پُرطنین خواننده ای به اسم Shirley Bassey به همراه شعری که تشبیهات انتزاعی اما در عین حال بسیارلطیفی رو برای ابراز دلتنگی های عاشقانه(حتی اگر عشق یک طرفه بوده باشه) درلابه لای خطوط ترانه به خوبی به کار برده، از ویژگیهای آهنگی ست به اسمِ If you go away که برگردانِ انگلیسیِ نسخۀ اصلی این آهنگ به زبان فرانسوی و با اسم Ne Me Quitte Pas نوشتۀ Jacques Brel در سال 1959 است. تا امروز خواننده های زیادی از جمله Julio Iglesias, Tom Jones , Frank Sinatra و...به زبانهای مختلف و البته مقادیری دخل و تصرف، این ترانۀ دوست داشتنی رو اجرا کردند. جالبه بدونید که حتی فرهاد هم سالها پیش این آهنگ روبه زبان انگلیسی اجرا کرده، با کوشش ها و مساعی زیاد بالاخره تونستم قطعۀ به شدت بد کیفیتی رو ازاجرای مذکور تو یوتیوب پیدا کنم که خب بازهم برای خودش غنیمته!
پیشنهاد می کنم وقتی به آهنگ گوش میدین، متن ترانه رو دنبال کنید. لحظات اوج موسیقی، وقتی خواننده با تمام قوا تارهای صوتی ش رو به لرزه در میاره و فریاد میزنه...تمام تارهای روح و روان وقلب و دلِ من هم همگام با موسیقی و آواز، مضراب می خورن، به لرزه در میان و به وضوح ارضای حسی میشن...

این ترانه و آهنگ واقعا قشنگه. ممنون از مساعی ت. از بدشانسی من، وسط کار هنک کرد و مجبور شدم خودم متن رو زمزمه کنم با چیزی که از صدای تام جونز تو گوشمه. این فیل افکن من به درد عمه م می خوره!
